Energrow Pressing Systems enable farmers to significantly reduce their feed costs by pressing soy, canola, or other oilseeds directly on the farm. This process produces freshly pelleted, high-quality, and consistent protein feed, as well as value-added oil. A Farm-Born Innovation from Southwestern Ontario

Energrow’s roots trace back to 2006 on a dairy farm in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. Faced with rising input costs, particularly for purchased feed, a father-daughter team sought a solution. They developed a pressing system to extract oil from raw soybeans and produce pelleted soybean meal, allowing the farm to replace over 70% of their purchased proteins and fats with expeller soymeal. The extracted oil was also used to fuel farm equipment, including the generator.

For their 120-cow tie-stall barn, the system paid for itself in under two years. Recognizing the immense value this system brought to their farm and the lack of reliable on-farm pressing systems available, Energrow was founded. Today, Energrow continues to help farmers capture more value from their crops, keeping more money in their pockets.
