Membership Services
- Indian Status Cards: Issuance and assistance with renewals.
- Document Authorization: Certified “Commissioner” for legal documents and oaths.
- Applications & Exemptions: Support with birth certificates, Indian registration, Gas Tax exemptions, and on-reserve estate administration.
- Indian Registry System: Event reporting for births, deaths, marriages, and more.
- Band Membership Management: Maintaining the Band Membership Registry and processing Band Transfers.
- Health Card & Tax Letters: Residency letters for health card renewals and tax purposes.
- Election Management: Overseeing by-elections, electoral processes, and voting for major agreements.
Communications Services
- Website & Social Media: Managing online presence and MCFN announcements.
- Newsletters: Publishing Paytahchemowin, MCFN’s community newsletter.

Information Technology
- Network Management: Overseeing Local and Wide Area Networks.
- System Upgrades: Procuring and setting up email servers, computers, and copiers.
- Tech Support: Troubleshooting issues with internet, computers, and other devices.
- Data Security: Managing telephone, voicemail, and security surveillance systems.
Governance
- Election Oversight: Managing MCFN General Elections, by-elections, and ratification voting.
- Regulatory Collaboration: Working with committees to draft and update regulations and by-laws.
- Agreement Ratification: Overseeing voting for Resource Development Agreements, including partnerships with DeBeers and OPG.
Management
- Financial Oversight: Preparing and managing budgets exceeding $2M.
- Leadership Involvement: Part of the Senior Management Team and Emergency Operations Control Group.
- Human Resources: Participating in hiring, training, and evaluation of departmental staff.
- Policy Development: Implementing administrative policies and procedures.
- Reporting: Submitting quarterly reports to MCFN citizens and monthly updates to committees.
Administrative Support
- Mail and Parcel Services: Coordinating mail and package handling.
- Supplies Management: Ordering and distributing office, janitorial supplies, and equipment.
- Client Services: Assisting with telephone calls, client inquiries, and visitor greetings.
- Meeting Coordination: Scheduling and organizing committee meetings.
- Custodial Services: Providing janitorial support to the main MCFN office.
